The SWAT Team has initiated the assessment of the vendor product/service shown below, and you have been invited to participate in the review of this system/product on behalf of your campus. Please carefully read the instructions before proceeding.

Objective To assess campus needs for plagiarism software/services, and to determine each campus' desire to participate in licensing the software/service.

The person responsible for selecting and deploying products and/or systems that can be used across campus, to enhance teaching and learning. That might be the director of the faculty development center, library staff, or the head of campuswide writing programs. This person will act as the campus coordinator for the use of the system, and will complete the assessment form by the deadline date shown below. This participant should be the person responsible for eventually approving or recommending the campus' acquisition of this product/service.

Turnitin.com is a plagiarism detection service provided by the company, iParadigms, LLC./Turnitin.com. SWAT has arranged for each campus wishing to assess the viability of this kind of software or service, to participate in a semester-long evaluation of iParadigms' plagiarism detection service. This trial will provide each CSU campus with unrestricted and unlimited use of iParadigms' services until May 31, 2002. By April 30, 2002, someone on your campus who has become familiar with Turnitin.com must complete the online survey.

To initiate your campus' participation in the evaluation,
1) Click on the link below to access the Turnitin.com signup sheet

2) Email the sheet to Paul Wedlake, Director of Sales iParadigms, LC./Turnitin.com

3) He will subsequently be your campus contact throughout the trial period and will provide you with instructions and materials to support your campus' use of their system.

To access the online assessment survey, email the Director of SWAT Services to obtain the survey access password, and access the online survey below.
